Stunning Sparklines in WPF – Using PowerShell, Boots and a Web Service

by Doug Finke on July 23, 2009

in PowerBoots, PowerShell, Sparklines

I blogged about Sparklines in Excel. I wanted to have more control so I put on the PowerBoots (WPF wrapped in PowerShell) and called a web service.

The code generates 10 sparklines, with 30 random data points, constructs a Url and sets the source property on a WPF image. The web service supports smooth, discrete and impulse sparklines.

In an upcoming post we’ll create the sparklines locally.
