The Windows PowerShell Integrated Scripting Environment (ISE) is a host application for Windows PowerShell, written in WPF. In Windows PowerShell ISE, you can run commands and write, test, and debug scripts in a single Windows graphic user interface with multiline editing, tab completion, syntax coloring, selective execution, context-sensitive help, and support for right-to-left languages.

Hi Doug,
Nice blog. For me PowerShell IDE you can love it or hate it. I loved the previous versi0n that had the Runspace menu option but they removed it from CTP3. Also, the fact the it doesn’t have intellisense while you build the code it bugs me. BUT, that just me, after using IDERA’s PowerShellPlus, you just get spoiled. Its really is a good IDE and its Free!
