I am on the fence. I took a simple data entry Windows Form from an existing financial app and ported it.
When I was finished I was dissatisfied. It was nothing fancy, no need for data binding or glitzy visuals.
If I wanted to do something creative with it, I could because it was based on WPF, that was a plus.
I didn’t see the carrot working with Xaml and Blend as I see working with other new enhancements like LINQ and WCF.
I see the potential these tools have to create slick, visually compelling solutions.
But not really for traders.
Perhaps I am sullied by the earlier versions of WPF samples that were slow and CPU hogs.

Clearly we need to get together more often so I can pour more koolaid down your throat.
Always up for koolaid parties.
Perhaps you should give your demo form and copy of Expresion to a designer, and see what you think afterwards
Or try some funky data display instead…
